Each year at the Executives Forum, Synergy members leave with new ideas, renewed energy, and a personal commitment to take action. What makes our network special is the way members follow through—turning conversations into real progress for their teams and companies. Here are four standout success stories from this year’s forum:

1. Creating a Safer Holiday Season – Vital Mechanical Service
Inspired by LMS’s winning Best Idea Challenge, Kevin Almon committed to exploring a safe ride program for his team. By the time the holidays rolled around, Vital had launched their “Home for the Holidays” program, offering safe transportation options from November 1 through January 31. It’s a great example of how a small idea can create a big impact on employee well-being.

2. From Discussion to Culture Shift – MSD
Nick Davis left the forum determined to help his team shift from a defensive to an offensive mindset. Since then, MSD has rolled out a monthly recognition program, implemented new tech tools like Power Apps and SharePoint, and even brought on a software engineer to support internal systems. It’s been a full-on culture shift—fueled by the forum and powered by action.

3. Real Feedback, Real-Time – Marina Mechanical
Carna Phillips wanted to reduce confusion in their job stages and improve communication. Since the forum, Marina has added a customer feedback survey link to every completed work order. Using Smartsheet to collect and track the responses, they’re gaining timely, actionable insights from clients—something completely new for their team.

4. Finding Soundness Within – M&M Metals
Sometimes the most important change isn’t operational—it’s personal. After reflecting on Vanessa Kiley’s session on leadership, Ben Christian made a commitment to become more inwardly sound. The shift in mindset, confidence, and consistency he’s experienced since has changed the way he leads both at M&M Metals and at home. As Ben shared, “I can now provide a more consistent version of me to my team.”

It’s stories like these that show what’s possible when Synergy members put ideas into action. We’re grateful for the honesty, follow-through, and inspiration shared by our community—and we’re excited to see what’s next.
