Synergy welcomed 77 field supervisors from across the country to Nashville, TN, from March 9-11 for the 2025 Field Supervisors Forum. Designed to help field leaders embrace their evolving roles with confidence and skill, this year’s event focused on leadership development, communication strategies, and peer collaboration.

A key highlight of the forum was the interactive workshop, “Oh Shift! From Boots to Boss – Communication Skills for Field Leaders,” led by guest speaker Lisa Withers. This session provided field supervisors with practical tools to refine their leadership approach, adjust their focus, and enhance communication in their teams.

Throughout the two-and-a-half-day event, attendees engaged in small group discussions, hands-on activities, and real-world problem-solving exercises designed to strengthen their leadership abilities. The LEGO team challenge, a standout session, demonstrated the power of clear communication and role delegation, while roundtable discussions gave supervisors the chance to share challenges and best practices with their peers.

“The best part was meeting other leaders in the same field as you, understanding what issues they see day to day, and hearing how they respond,” said Tyson Pritchard (Baker Group).

Attendees kept coming back to the same takeaway—there’s nothing better than connecting with like-minded peers, with Kevin Ordonez (Cox Engineering) noting, “Being my first time here, I wouldn’t change a thing. I really enjoyed the roundtable discussions and knowing that many others are in the same position as me.”

A big shoutout to Synergy partners DST, Milwaukee Tool, and XOi for helping make this year’s Field Supervisors Forum a success.

Synergy is already looking ahead to 2026 and planning another Field Supervisors Forum to continue to help field leaders gain the skills, connections, and real-world strategies they need to keep growing.
