On April 10th, Synergy’s Women in Synergy peer group came together for a powerful and personal session led by Wyetta Ford, founder of HR Coach, as part of the global #IAmRemarkable initiative.
Wyetta opened the session by inviting attendees to bring their full selves to the experience—cameras on and stories ready. What followed was a meaningful 90-minute conversation about self-promotion, unconscious bias, and the importance of recognizing and sharing accomplishments, both big and small.
Participants explored why self-promotion matters—not just for career advancement, but for well-being and confidence. Wyetta shared personal stories and helpful advice, encouraging the group to talk about their wins in a more confident and personal way instead of downplaying them or sharing credit too broadly. Through guided exercises, women named what made them remarkable, reflected on challenges they’ve overcome, and supported one another in practicing allyship.
By the end of the session, attendees described feeling “empowered,” “energized,” “grateful,” and “proud.” The workshop not only created space for self-reflection, but reminded us of the power of celebrating our stories—and each other.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to Wyetta for leading with insight, humor, and heart.
