Synergy is thrilled to recognize CSE as the recipient of the 2024 Sam DeAngelis Peer of the Year Award, presented at the Executives Forum.
This special award is given to the member company that best represents Synergy’s core values. It was named in loving memory of Sam DeAngelis, a member who embodied those values through his unwavering support for others.
CSE exemplifies what it means to live Synergy’s core values through their active involvement, leadership, and commitment to helping others succeed. Over the past year, they have participated in six of the seven Synergy training sessions, contributed to and presented during all five best practices webinars, and engaged deeply with the network by participating in seven of the 11 small peer groups.
Their commitment extends beyond attendance—they consistently share insights, present ideas, and actively contribute to the success of others in the Synergy community.
The team at CSE has also demonstrated their dedication to personal and professional growth. At the Leadership Forum, their president Ted Christiansen volunteered as a mentor for the first time, sharing how much value their team has gained attending this session and expressing a desire to give back to others in the network. This spirit of collaboration and generosity is mirrored by the pride and gratitude he show toward his team each time they stood up and shared something at the meeting.
CSE’s culture of giving extends beyond Synergy. They have formed lasting connections throughout the membership, and their involvement reflects a shared commitment to excellence and growth.
In accepting the award, Ted Christiansen from CSE expressed his appreciation for the Synergy community and reflected on the impact of the relationships and learning opportunities it has provided. He also noted the deep honor of receiving an award that carries the legacy of Sam DeAngelis, a person whose values continue to inspire the entire Synergy network.
“Knowing all of the amazing companies in Synergy, this is a great honor, but anyone who knew Sam will understand—it is the greatest honor we could receive in the HVAC industry to be the Sam DeAngelis Peer of the Year. We are proud to help keep his legacy going.”
At the meeting Pam DeAngelis, Sam’s wife, shared how meaningful it was to see CSE recognized. She highlighted the strong connection between CSE and Sam, noting the friendships formed and the support Ted offered during Sam’s journey.
CSE’s contributions to Synergy and their embodiment of its core values make them a deserving recipient of the Sam DeAngelis Peer of the Year Award. Their commitment to collaboration, growth, and giving back serves as an example to all Synergy members.
