Synergy is spotlighting some of our new Synergy members to help you get to know them a little bit better. We asked each new member some questions so we could learn more about them and their business. Check out below to read all about Scott Tracy with Chiller Systems Service!

  1. What originally got you interested in your current field of work?

My Dad was in the Sheet Metal side of the business, worked summers in High School, and moved to Service department, the rest is history.

  1. What do you love most about what you do?

The people in this industry are awesome and I love solving problems, the more complex the better.

  1. Who inspires you?

My Wife, Daughter and Son.

  1. What is your favorite thing about the area you live in?

At the risk of getting more transplants out here, we live in one of the best climates in one of the most diverse and beautiful landscapes in the world. I am an avid Cyclist (road and Mountain bikes, gravel too) and I get to ride year round.

  1. What is your most prized possession and why?

I don’t hold stock in things so much so I would say my family, although not really a possession of mine.

  1. What charity or cause are you most passionate about?

Always have a soft spot for helping kids, coached when my kids were younger, built stage sets for theatre, anything to help kids and their friends. Volunteers of America is a favorite charity.

  1. What is the best thing you got from your parents?

I grew up a “latchkey” kid, only child, both parents worked, got divorced when I was young, they both still spent time with me always. So commitment, living through adversity and family.

  1. What have you learned as a business leader since the COVID pandemic?

Wow, this is a hard one to narrow down. We have always valued our employees and their families, when you are charged with protecting them to this extreme-it just reinforces how lucky we are to work with all of them. Our team has been INCREDIBLE from the very first day of this pandemic and continue to be, and no one has gotten sick (knocking on wood here).
