Synergy successfully concluded its 2023 Leadership Forum at The Kimpton Harper Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas.

Commencing on September 11th, the event united 71 dedicated members for an enriching learning experience centered on the foundations of impactful leadership.

The Leadership Forum commenced with a captivating leadership workshop led by Steve Thomas, titled “The Sweet Spot of Leadership.” Attendees gained invaluable insights from Thomas, with Juli Hickey of Vital Mechanical Service remarking, “Steve Thomas had so many great nuggets to takeaway. I found that I learned so much about myself as a person and a leader.”

On the second day, attendees received the results of their 360-degree peer feedback surveys. They participated in small mentor groups, engaging in discussions about their feedback, identifying blind spots, and strategizing methods to promote continuous feedback within their teams.

Robert Lozada of ISS Mechanical highlighted the importance of collaboration, noting, “I really appreciated the camaraderie among different partners throughout Synergy and how we all tackled similar issues.”

The third day of the Leadership Forum encouraged attendees to delve even deeper into their leadership journeys. Participants openly discussed the real-life challenges they encounter while leading up, leading peers, and leading their direct reports. The session culminated with members crafting action plans to implement the knowledge and insights gained during the event.

Charlie Tuescher of JM Brennan shared his perspective, stating, “The stories in the room are confirmation that the challenges I have are common, and that I’m not alone in the journey of finding solutions.”

The 2023 Leadership Forum proved to be a transformative experience for all attendees, cultivating a sense of unity and equipping them with practical tools to excel in their leadership roles.
