The August 21st Women in Synergy peer group call focused on two impactful principles from the book Fierce Conversations: obeying your instincts and taking responsibility for your emotional wake. These ideas led to thoughtful conversations around how we navigate difficult moments, stay aligned with our values, and recognize the impact we have on others.

One member shared a personal story about speaking up for herself in the workplace, which resulted in a promotion and a powerful example for her daughter. The group also explored what it means to live with integrity, with many reflecting on how challenging it can be to fully live out their personal values.

During breakout discussions, participants worked through real messages they needed to deliver – whether to a colleague, friend, or family member. The conversations sparked connection with a few groups even making plans to continue their discussions afterward.
