A collage of Synergy Solution Group members in small group discussions during the 2025 Sales Forum, engaged in conversations around round tables.
After the 2025 Sales Forum, we followed up with our members to see what stuck. From shifting proposal strategies to improving internal accountability, here are four standout examples of how Synergy members put their plans into motion.

Ben Rimmele, Atomatic Mechanical Services

After the forum, Ben made it a priority to start finding ways to differentiate his approach. Instead of focusing solely on price, he’s taken the time to review the full scope of work and identify outliers that others might miss. By putting in the extra effort, he’s delivering proposals that offer real solutions, whether that’s energy efficiency improvements or long-overdue repairs. Ben says customers have taken notice of the added value and deeper level of care, and that his goal is always to leave clients better than they were before.

Mike Unger, J.M. Brennan

Mike committed to improving bid tracking, proposal turnaround times, and client engagement. Since returning, he’s implemented a new system using Teams folders to organize and track job quotes. With the help of an assistant, they now meet several times a week to stay on top of progress and schedule customer site visits. The structure has created more clarity, consistency, and accountability across their sales efforts.

Mario Navarro, Five Star Mechanical

Mario’s focus after the forum was on staying committed to target clients and involving his team to build trust and unity. Over the past few months, he’s used the Sales Manager pipeline to set up and follow up on leads, helping his team stay aligned on strategic goals. While he’s still working on improving his follow-through after initial meetings, Mario says he’s seeing results from narrowing his focus and staying consistent – and he’s looking for even more ways to build a strong cadence with clients over time.

James Simpson, W.B. Guimarin & Co.

James left the forum with the intention of starting monthly PAR (Performance and Accountability Review) meetings, but instead decided to go even further. His team now holds weekly Monday morning sales meetings where each rep reports on the previous week’s activity – initial meetings, surveys, proposals closed, and revenue billed. Reps also maintain a Top 8 list of prospects and outline their game plan for the upcoming week. The team is still ironing out the details, but James says the new rhythm has brought more focus and momentum to their sales process.

Each of these stories represents more than just a follow-up – they show Synergy members putting our values into action: Commitment to doing the work, Accountability to their goals, and Innovation in the way they lead. If you joined us at the Sales Forum, we hope these stories serve as a reminder that change doesn’t have to be massive to be meaningful.

We’d love to hear how your action plan is going! Drop us a note or share your own story so we can keep learning and growing together.
